Granadina was born in Medellín as a project between friends, with no commercial interest. Little by little, Jennifer Granada, Juliana Granada, and Vaneza Peláez began to notice that their swimsuit designs were popular and received orders. At that moment, they decided to make them for a wider audience and offer different, stylish garments.

Vaneza Peláez Sánchez is a social communicator and journalist from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín. Her days revolve around her two daughters, Luciana and Celeste, whom she considers the linchpins of her life.
